Ankle Shine LLC works with owners and managers who know their business could run more smoothly but do not have the time to redesign it while also running it.
Our mission
Our mission is to give small and mid-sized businesses the operational structure normally found in much larger organisations: documented procedures, clear ownership, deliberate planning and a predictable rhythm of review.
We do this without adding complexity. A business with ten people does not need the management apparatus of one with a thousand — it needs the few systems that remove the most friction, written down plainly and actually used.

Efficiency work fails when it is imposed from outside. Ours starts from observation and ends with documentation your team owns.
Clarity before change
We document how a business actually operates today before recommending anything. Changes made without that picture usually create new problems.
Written scope, written fee
Deliverables, timeline and cost are agreed in writing before work starts, so there is never ambiguity about what you are paying for.
Systems your team can run
Procedures are written for the people who will use them. If a system needs us present to work, it is not finished.
Measured, incremental progress
We prefer a sequence of small, verifiable improvements over sweeping reorganisations that stall halfway through.
How we work with clients
Engagements begin with a consultation. We ask how work reaches your business, who handles each stage, where things commonly stall and what has already been tried. That conversation determines whether we are the right fit — and we will say so if we are not.
From there, we scope the work in writing. You receive the deliverables, the timeline and the fee before committing. During delivery you work directly with the person doing the work, and everything produced is handed over in a form you can maintain yourself.
We make no claims about results we cannot substantiate, and we publish no testimonials, client logos or certifications we do not hold. What we can tell you about is our method, our scope and our pricing — all of which are set out on this site.
